Seasonal Subscriptions

Let us fill your home and table with beauty week after week. Our subscriptions also make a lovely gift, no matter the occasion.

Flower subscriptions, also known as a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture), are a way to enjoy fresh flowers by sharing in the harvest throughout the farmers’ growing season. CSA is a way to partner with the farmer, form relationship and get to know the land and the seasonality of flowers, a sharp contrast to industrialized models of selling flowers. CSA members take on a share of the risk, allowing the farmer to prepare and plan for an abundant harvest. Farmers are dependent on their communities and this is a wonderful way to support local agriculture!

Why support a local flower farmer?

By supporting Little Sparrow, you are also supporting sustainable practices that honor the land and are receiving flowers seasonal to the Piedmont. The majority of purchased flowers in the U.S. comes from over-seas. Buying from local flower farmers supports the local economy and can also help diminish carbon emissions by preventing the transport of flowers from across the world.

How does a Little Sparrow subscription work?

This year we are offering two share options. A Spring 8-week subscription and a Late Summer/Early Fall 4-week subscription. You will receive an arranged bouquet wrapped in brown kraft paper. More than likely there will be a new variety each week, as flowers change with the seasons. Textures and colors will shift week to week, season to season.

Deliveries go out on Thursdays between 3:00-6:00pm. You will arrive at your chosen location during pickup hours, select your bouquet, and check your name off the list. Any bouquets not picked up during the designated time frame will be donated.

While we can't hold or reallocate bouquets if you are away, you can ask a family member, friend, or neighbor to pick the flowers up and enjoy the bouquet. If this is not possible, let us know and we won't deliver during your time away.

We encourage you to put the pick up date on your calendar, but we'll send an email reminder weekly.
